Members' Events

Members of the NETOA are invited to come along to the New Victoria Centre on the following dates to meet with fellow enthusiasts, play the Wurlitzer or to listen to others, plus the occasional special feature:

  • Sunday, 28th March at 2.30pm
  • Wednesday, 12th May at 7.00pm (*)
  • Sunday, 13th June at 2.30pm
  • Sunday, 25th July at 2.30pm - 'Wulitzer and Cream'
  • Wednesday, 15th September at 7.00pm
  • Sunday, 10th October at 2.30pm
  • Wednesday, 10th November at 7.00pm (*)

Admission is only £2.00 including refreshments for the standard Members' Event, and £5.00 for the Members' Concert (indicated by the symbol *), which is inclusive of a pie and pea supper.

Pay Us A Visit

Each year we welcome parties from local organisations of all types who come to find out about the New Victoria Centre and the Wurlitzer organ.  For a modest fee (to cover operating expenses), we can accommodate a limited number of such visits each year.  So, if you are looking for a 'visit with a difference' which we can 'tailor' to the special requirements of your organisation / group, why not ask for more details from:

Organists' Teach-In

With professional theatre organist, Len Rawle.

Visitor Days

Find out about entertainment in the 1920s and 1930s, what the ‘Mighty’ Wurlitzer looks like – inside and out, how it was used in the golden age of the ‘Super Cinemas’, how it works and what it sounds like. Performances at 11.00a.m., 1.00p.m. and 2.30p.m. (lasting approximately 1 hour).
